Gecko-AK.org Blacklist Home Page

Purpose:

This page lists domains and netblocks that are prevented from sending e-mail to recipients on the gecko-ak.org domain. This is almost exclusively because gecko-ak.org has received Unsolicited Commercial or Bulk E-mail (UCE/UBE, or "spam") from an IP address in the listed netblock or hosted by the listed domain. Consequently, the database will also contain the offending e-mail that landed each listed domain or netblock on our blacklist.

Policies:

If you are an abuse administrator for the affected domain, you may send an e-mail to abuse at gecko-ak dot org with a statement indicating that you have taken action to prevent the abuse from continuing, and we will consider removing the block against your network. We do not guarantee removal--requests will be evaluated on a case-by case basis, and we reserve the right to block access to our mail server to anyone we choose, with or without reason.

This information is intended to be used by abuse administrators of the listed domains so that they can remove themselves from Gecko-AK.org's blacklists. However, because this information is freely accessible (it must be to make it possible for anyone responsible for administering blacklisted netblocks to access the data), it is possible that other individuals on the Internet can use this data to populate their own blacklists. Gecko-AK.org neither encourages nor discourages this activity. If you wish to query this data to populate your own blacklist, you do so at your own risk! Gecko-AK.org accepts no responsibility for loss of service resulting from using this blacklist. Use this information for good, not evil :)
